The entire creative sessions including the creation of the songs from embryo stage was captured for the HBO special, which premieres on October 17 on HBO in the USA.

All of the song lyrics were written experimental style with Grohl talking to the core music identities in each city they visit like Willie in Austin and Dolly Parton in Nashville and then written the words for the songs based on comments in the interviews.

Dave Grohl describes the album as “a love letter to the history of American music.”

The new trailer includes two of the new songs, ‘Something From Nothing’ and ‘The Feast and the Famine’.
