Foo Fighters will be on the road with the tour heading to Singapore for the first time in 21 years in August.

Foo Fighters last played Singapore in 1996. They were scheduled to perform in the city in March 2012 but cancelled when Dave Grohl had to pull back on live vocal duties on doctors orders.

The band will play the National Stadium on August 26.

The tour will include dates in South Korea on August 22 and Bangkok on August 24 as well as a headline slot for the Summer Sonic Festival in Japan.

Australian dates will be part of the Asia / Pacific tour and are expected to be announced later this week.

Foo Fighters debuted the new song ‘The Sky Is A Neighbourhood’ this week at Sammy Hagar’s annual Acoustic-4-A-Cure benefit concert at the Fillmore, San Francisco.
