Foreigner’s next Australian tour will be with a symphony orchestra.

“I could never have imagined when I set out to create Foreigner 40 years ago, that we’d still be touring around the world and performing the music we love all these years later”, said the band’s founder and only original member Mick Jones. “Dave Eggar and Chuck Palmer’s orchestral arrangements have shown us a new symphonic dimension of our music, which I hope our fans will enjoy.”

Jones’ latest Foreigner line-up is lead singer Kelly Hansen (since 2005), multi-instrumentalist Tom Gimbel (since 1992), bassist Jeff Pilson (since 2004), keyboardist Michael Bluestein (since 2008), Bruce Watson (since 2011) on guitar and Chris Frazier (since 2012) on drums.
