Jason Singh, the former lead singer for platinum selling Australian band Taxiride, has dropped a taste of his forthcoming solo album ‘Humanequin’ with the release of the first single ‘Hold On Forever’.

‘Humanequin’ will be Jason’s first album since the last Taxiride record ‘Axiomatic’ in 2005.

‘Hold On Forever’ is a completely different sound to the harmonies of Taxiride with Jason exploring his favourite sounds of the 80s. The song his an energetic dance number more in tune with Prince and Michael Jackson than Taxiride’s Crosby, Stills & Nash roots.

For ‘Humanequin’, Singh recruited the production ears of Charles Fisher, the mastermind behind the first Savage Garden album and albums by Hoodoo Gurus and Moving Pictures.

‘Humanequin’ will be released through Robert Rigby’s Ambition record label on September 20. ‘Hold On Forever’ is out now on iTunes.
