The Zappa Family Trust, the “corporation” that handles all things having to do with Frank Zappa, have announced that they have signed a new contract with Universal Music Enterprises which will see 60 of Frank’s albums get rereleased.
The program will see all of the albums from Zappa’s Barking Pumpkin Records be put back on the market.
The releases will come out monthly in batches of 12 starting on July 31 with some of his most iconic works:

Cruising with Ruben & the Jets (1968)
Uncle Meat (1969)
Hot Rats (1969)
Burnt Weeny Sandwich (1970)

Chunga’s Revenge (1970)
Fillmore East, June 1971 (1971)
Just Another Band from L.A. (1972)
In most cases, the analog masters have been remastered for the new release.
