Fratellis are preparing for a busy year following their reunion with a new song and their first live dates for 2014 announced.
The Fratellis released their new album, We Need Medicine, in October 2013 on BMG and, shortly after, made a return to the road in with sold-out shows across the US, UK and Europe.
The Scottish band’s live show was praised as ‘a good old rock and roll show that was a damn good time’ (WAWSTSF) & summarized by Rukkus, ‘their ability to command the stage and awe their crowds is incomparable.’
New single ‘She’s Not Gone Yet But She’s Leaving’ finds the band in virgin territory, both musically & stylistically. ‘It’s a song we have to dance to, and we don’t dance very well,’ frontman Jon Fratelli said. ‘I think it’s a departure from where we were before.’
Released on February 3rd, the new single is supported with a slew of new live dates in the US and Japan. The band look forward to performing again in the UK & Europe very soon.
