Even as we witness the Soundwave Counterrevolution shows following the collapse of Soundwave Revolution, the next phase of Australia’s biggest heavy music festival is well underway.
The Soundwave line-up was announced on triple j just minutes ago. Rumours of Offspring and Evanescence soon proved to be just that.
The big names are: System Of A Down, Slipknot, Limp Bizkit, Marilyn Manson, Hole, Mastodon, A Day To Remember, Machine Head, Lamb Of God and Trivium.
But, as usual, there are scores of other bands: Alterbridge, Lost Prophets, Angels And Airwaves, Cobra Starship, The Used, You Me At Six, Coal Chamber, Dashboard Confessional, Thursday, Forever The Sickest Kids, Dillinger Escape Plan, Raised Fist, Black Label Society, Underoath, Saves The Day, Circa Survive, Steel Panther, Jack’s Mannequin, Meshuggah, Sisters Of Mercy, Enter Shikari, Four Year Strong, Black Veil Brides, Madina Lake, Zebrahead, Hatebreed, Biohazard, Times Of Grace, CKY, Street Dogs, Dragonforce, Gojira, Kvelertak, Let Live, HellYeah, Cro-Mags, The Cab, Relient K, Versa Emerge, Heroes For Hire, Kill Hannah, Dangerous Summer, Chimaira, Framing Hanley, Watain, I Am The Avalanche, Royal Republic, Turisas, and River City Extension.
