Evermore’s Jon Hume is the uncredited featured vocalist on the Galantis and East & Young hit ‘Make Me Feel’.
‘Make Me Feel’ was recorded for the soundtrack of the Netflix movie ‘XOXO’.
“This is my first feature vocal in a while!! Just hit 1.7 million Spotify streams in one week. Loved working with the stupidly talented Swedish geniuses Galantis and East&Young,” Jon posted at his Facebook page.
According to Netflix, “XOXO is a coming-of-age ensemble film about a group of 20-somethings on a crazy adventure to the biggest EDM festival in America, XOXO. The film follows six strangers whose lives collide in one frenetic, dream-chasing, hopelessly romantic night. At the center is Ethan, a young DJ who gets a last minute slot to perform after his tracks go viral online days before the festival. This is a huge opportunity… if he can just make it there in one piece”.
Jon Hume formed Evermore with his brothers Peter and Dann in New Zealand in 1999. The band, now based in Melbourne, Australia has produced two platinum albums ‘Dreams’ (2004) and ‘Real Life’ (2006) as well as ‘Truth of the World: Welcome To The Show’ (no 14, 2009) and ‘Follow The Sun’ (no 40, 2012).
Jon works from his home studio, The Stables Recording Studio, in the Macedon Ranges. He has produced for Matt Corby, Tina Arena, Delta Goodrem and Lisa Mitchell and co-written for Tina Arena, Delta Goodrem, Dami Im, ThirstyMerc and Little Sea.
Evermore’s biggest hit was the 2006 no 1 ‘Light Surrounds You’.
