Liam and Noel Gallagher have ended their feud.
The brothers, who famously fronted hit 90s band Oasis until Liam quit the group in 2009 as they were about to go on stage, have had public arguments for the past few years but it seems the siblings have put their differences aside once and for all.
On Saturday, Liam posted a shot of himself holding a pass to go Access All Areas at his brother’s gig with his band High Flying Birds. Alongside the shot, Liam wrote: ‘Keeping it in the family… LG x’.
Over the past few years, Liam and Noel have indulged in a public war of words. Things seemed to reach a head last year when Noel labelled his brother ‘crazy’ in an interview.
“As we know, you can’t plan 30 seconds of your life with him as it can go t*ts up any time,” Noel told Britain’s The Sun newspaper. “It can be in a lift going up to a hotel room or at the side of the stage before you go out to 25,000 people.”
Following Noel’s quotes, Liam hit back at his sibling. The 42-year-old singer even went as far as to suggest that he hated working alongside his brother when they were in Oasis.
“Everyone knows my feelings, I’m not shy with that. I love our kid, as in the Noel that’s not in a band,” Liam told Clash magazine. “But the geezer that’s in the band? I f***ing, absolutely f***ing, despise him.”
