Garbage have announced they will play a one-off show at London’s Brixton O2 Academy on Sunday, November 8 to celebrate 20 years since the release of their self-titled debut album.
Garbage was a critically acclaimed, international hit when released, selling more than 4 million copies and going double platinum in the UK, US and Australia. The album contained four UK top 30 hit singles – Stupid Girl, Queer, Milk and Only Happy When It Rains.
The American-Scottish quartet came to prominence in the mid-to-late ’90s as a cutting-edge electronic-rock band that dabbled in dance rhythms and pop sensibilities. Led by the alluring, punk-ish Shirley Manson, Garbage recently confirmed new music will be released as part of Record Store Day 2015.
Tickets go on sale 9 AM, Friday March 6.
