The Gaslight Anthem have gathered up all of their b-sides for a new album.
Their label SideOneDummy Records has announced The Gaslight Anthem The B-Sides will be released on January 28, 2014.
The B-Sides will features 11 tracks recorded between 2008 and 2011 including the studio track ‘She Loves You,’ rare acoustic takes on some of the bands’ biggest songs and an inspired version of The Rolling Stones’ ‘Tumbling Dice.’
The collection will also highlight some of their best live tracks and covers from bands like Fake Problems and Lightning Dust.
The Gaslight Anthem first made waves with their 2008 breakthrough album The ’59 Sound, a rollicking mix of youthful optimism and melodic, soulful vocal stylings.
The response to the album was massive, with sold out concerts across the country and performances on Letterman and Conan taking the band to new heights as they geared up for the next record. 2010’s American Slang solidified The Gaslight Anthem as a punk rock mainstay, debuting at #16 on the Billboard Top 200 and even being called one of Rolling Stone’s top reasons to be excited about music again.
