Gene Simmons will appear in the debut episode of ‘Welcome To Sweden’.

“While we were in Europe on the last KISS tour I was asked to be in a new show called ‘Welcome To Sweden’ being filmed there, Gene announced at genesimmons.com.

The show was created by Amy Poehler’s younger brother Greg Poehler, who moved to Sweden in 2006. Amy stars in the show as herself. Greg Poehler plays the lead role of Bruce Evans, an American accountant who quits his job and heads to Sweden to live. Dallas’ Patrick Duffy plays his father. Illeana Douglas is his mother.

The 10 episodes of season one of Welcome To Sweden have already screened in Sweden and will debut in the USA on NBC on July 10.
