An investigation into the death of George Michael will be carried out after the coroner ruled the post-mortem examination “inconclusive”.
Superstar George Michael died on Christmas Day at age 53. An initial report suggested the cause of death as heart failure. That came from George’s US-based manager Michael Lippman.
George’s long-time partner Fadi Fawaz found George dead lying “peacefully in bed”.
He posted on Twitter, “ITs a xmas i will never forget finding your partner dead peacefully in bed first thing in the morning.. I will never stop missing you xx”

A statement issued by Thames Valley Police said, “The cause of death is inconclusive and further tests will now be carried out. The results of these tests are unlikely to be known for several weeks.”
The Oxfordshire coroner will prepare the final report.
