George Michael Populates Australian Chart

The death of George Michael has prompted his music to re-enter the Australian chart.

Michael’s Wham Christmas hit ‘Last Christmas’ re-entered the ARIA singles chart at number 23 while his solo hit ‘Faith’ is back at number 50.

On the ARIA album chart the compilation albums ‘Twenty Five’ and ‘Ladies and Gentlemen The Best Of’ are at numbers 11 and 14.

The iTunes chart is showing equal love for George. ‘Twenty Five’ is at number 4, ‘Ladies & Gentlemen’ is at number 5, ‘Older’ is at number 69 and Wham ‘The Final’ is at 141.

The single ‘Faith’ is also at number 34 on the iTunes singles chart. ‘Freedom 90’ is at number 68 and the George Michael and Elton John duet ‘Don’t Let The Sun Go Down On Me’ is at number 80. Wham’s ‘Wake Me Up Before You Go Go’ is at 95, ‘Last Christmas’ is at 98 and his solo track ‘Too Funky’ is number 99 today.
