Netflix has rebooted the mid-70’s to mid-80’s series One Day at a Time and Gloria Estefan is singing the new theme song.
‘One Day At At Time’ was a 70s sitcom. The story of a single mother raising two daughters, the show starred Bonnie Franklin, Mackenzie Phillips, Valerie Bertinelli and Pat Harrington but, for the new version, has been reset in the world of a Cuban-American family with Justina Machado, Isabella Gomez, Marcel Ruiz, Todd Grinnell and Rita Moreno.
The original theme song from the show, written by Jeff Berry, was performed by Polly Cutter. For the reboot, they gave it a Latin beat and brought in Gloria Estefan to sing.
