Grammy Award winning Australian orchestra the Australian Chamber Orchestra will perform at the Melbourne Hebrew Congregation.
The Australian Chamber Orchestra was the only Australia act to win at the Grammy Awards this year. They picked up three awards.
The ensemble will perform with Principal Cellist Timo-Veikko Valve and cellist Julian Thompson.
Valve will perform Bloch’s ‘From Jewish Life’, featuring ‘Prayer’, ‘Supplication’ and ‘Jewish Song’, written in 1924 as part of ‘Jewish Cycle’.
