Green Day will be back on the road in March and frontman Billie Joe Armstrong has made a public statement for the first time since going into rehab.
In his statement Armstrong said, “Dear friends… I just want to thank you all for the love and support you’ve shown for the past few months. Believe me, it hasn’t gone unnoticed and I’m eternally grateful to have such an amazing set of friends and family. I’m getting better everyday. So now, without further ado, the show must go on. We can’t wait to get on the road and live out load! Our passion has only grown stronger.”
Noise11 published new Green Day dates on January 1. The band was put on hold after Billie Joe Armstrong spewed a drug filled rant on an audience in Las Vegas in September.
When it became known that Billie had become dependant on drugs, all upcoming Green Day activity was postponed.
