Is it a case of legal wrangling to get custody of their children or has Black Flag founder Greg Ginn truly been abusing his children in some way?
Isadora Lux Ginn, Greg’s wife, has filed an affidavit in Williamson County Texas for an emergency hearing to modify the parent child relationship status for the couple’s two daughters, ages 10 and 7. At the current time, both children live with their father.
According to the affidavit, which can be seen at the Consequences of Sound website, Isadora believes that “my children’s health and welfare is currently being jeopardized. I believe it is no longer in their interest to reside with their father…”
Among Isadora’s allegations:
– Ginn and the children live in an industrial building where Greg also does business and rehearses.
– The children have reported that their father’s behavior has become erratic and that they have witnessed him doing drugs and drinking alcohol.
– They are routinely denied food including after strenuous baseball practice with a private tutor.
– They are forced to do labor in the building, which has “many employees”, until as late as 2 AM.
– The children are given unpalatable food and told that, if they don’t eat it, the won’t get anything else to eat.
– They are punished by having water thrown in their face and are locked into rooms.
Their father has whistled at them and told them “You’re hot”.
– They have fallen behind their peers because they are home schooled even though they want to go to public schools.
– Their father’s practices sometimes go all night, denying them the ability to sleep.
The couple’s youngest daughter was hospitalized on October 7 due to stress and anxiety.
No date has been announced for a hearing on the affidavit.
