A tour bus carrying twelve members of Gregg Allman’s crew crashed early Wednesday in Jackson County, WV.
The bus was traveling to Charleston, WV when, reportedly, the driver began to choke on coffee he was drinking. The bus lost control, driving across the opposite lanes and off the road where it ended up in a grove of trees which stopped the bus from falling into an adjoining creek.
Injured were monitor engineer Earl McCoy, production manager Timothy Wright and audio technician Michael Gallun. They were take to nearby CAMC General Hospital where they were treated for minor injuries and released. The other nine crew members on the bus did not require treatment.
