Guns N’ Roses have been teasing something new for the past week with billboards popping up all over the world including in Melbourne and Sydney. This is what has been about.

Guns N’ Roses have just slipped out a never before released song ‘Shadow Of Your Love’, recorded, but not used, for the breakthrough Appetite For Destruction expanded edition, coming 29 June.

‘Shadow Of Your Love’ was recorded in December 1986, just one month before Appetite For Destruction sessions started. It was recorded by Mike Clink, most likely as his audition, as Guns N’ Roses were so happy with Mike’s work they kept him to on record the album.

‘Shadow Of Your Love’ will be released as part of the expanded ‘Appetite For Destruction: Locked N’ Loaded Edition box set’.

The new ‘Appetite will also be released in concurrent multiple configurations, Appetite For Destruction will be made available in a 4CD/1Blu-ray Audio Super Deluxe Edition with a 96 page book featuring unreleased photos from Axl Rose’s personal archive, a 2CD Deluxe Edition, 2LP 180-gram heavyweight vinyl edition, 1 CD remaster, and digital download/streaming equivalents.

The top price is $US1450 for the (what they are calling) limited edition of 10,000 boxes.
