ARIA winning singer-songwriter Gurrumul will perform with the Adelaide Symphony Orchestra in February.
Gurrumul will bring the ‘His Life & Music’ show to South Australia featuring a live account of his life through song, film and storytelling.
The setlist will include new works from Gurrumul’s upcoming third studio album as well as rearranged and reinterpreted versions of the songs from the first tow albums orchestrated by Erkki Veltheim.
Gurrumul’s band will include clan members of Northeast Arnhem land performing with the Adelaide Symphony Orchestra conducted by Iain Grandage.
Gurrumul His Life & Music will feature special guests Kate Ceberano and Dewayne Everettsmith.
The performance will take place at Prince Alfred Collage Oval, Kent Town, Adelaide on February 16.
