Guy Pearce will morph from movie star to rock star for one night only in Melbourne in November and then play for Sydney one week later.

The Guy Pearce shows will be the launch of his debut album ‘Broken Bones’.

Pearce will perform in intimate mode in the tiny The Toff in Melbourne and the somewhat slightly larger The Basement in Sydney. The Toff In Town has a capacity of 300 standing.

‘Broken Bones’ is the first music outing for the star of ‘Memento’, ‘The King’s Speech’, ‘Iron Man 3’ and ‘The Adventures of Priscilla Queen of the Desert’.

The 10-track album will feature all original songs described as “a compelling repertoire of delicate ballads, funky, laid-back tunes and upbeat rock, written by Guy with lush production that will translate to the stage with his five-piece band”.

Guy Pearce will release his ‘Broken Bones’ album independently via MGM on November 7.

Guy Pearce dates

November 12, Melbourne, The Toff In Town
November 19, Sydney, The Basement
