Indie-synth exports Gypsy & The Cat return with a new album, a national tour, and a clip for ‘Sorry’.
Their debut Gilgamesh was greeted with love in their home country of Australia and then around the world, the band relocating to London and spending the last two years traveling the globe from Japan to Europe and home again.
They’re planning more international dates, but Xavier Bacash and Lionel Towers will tour their new album The Late Blue in Australia first.
The Late Blue was written on the road and recorded in “the country” under the guidance of Dave Fridman, who has worked with MGMT and the Flaming Lips. It’ll be out on October 19, just in time for the shows.
Tickets are available from Ticketmaster for Melbourne and Sydney, Moshtix for Brisbane and Adelaide, and Heatseeker for Perth. Check out the addictive first single ‘Sorry’ below.
