A picture of the Coachella poster for 2012 has appeared online, featuring Radiohead, No Doubt, Foo Fighters and more.
While this happened last year and it was found to be correct, it’s hard to trust anything on the internet, especially since the iconic Coachella poster is so easily forgeable.
Either way, it’s an interesting item, which includes Radiohead, the reunited No Doubt, Foo Fighters, Daft Punk, The Roots, Wilco, Florence and The Machine, LMFAO, Modest Mouse, Underworld, Tom Waits, Beirut, The Shins, Lykke Li, Swedish House Mafia, Death Cab For Cutie, M83 and Justice.
One of the more intriguing listings for hardcore obsessives is groundbreaking Swedish act Refused, who broke up so completely and acrimoniously in 1998. Hard to see them actually reforming, but many said that about DFA 1979, who got back together for Coachella this year.
Next year will be the first time Coachella with run across two weekends – April 13-15 and April 20-22.
See the big version here at Heavy Music and take it with a grain of salt.
