Heart Get Christmasy

The Wilson sister, Ann and Nancy Wilson of Heart, have each recorded a new Christmas song both of which were released this week.

Ann Wilson’s is the Charles Brown classic Please Come Home For Chirstmas which she sings as a duet with Aaron Neville. While Brown had the original hit of the song, it is probably best known to radio listeners today in a version by the Eagles. Neville has also recorded his own solo version on the 1993 album Aaron Neville’s Soulful Christmas.

Nancy’s track is the Welsh folk song All Through the Night. Joining her on background vocals is Richard Marx.

This is not the sister’s for trip to the holiday farm. In 1998 their sidegroup, the Lovemongers, released Here is Christmas, a ten track collections split between original Wilson compositions and songs by others. It was re-released in 1991 under their Heart name as Heart Presents A Lovemongers’ Christmas.
