The national Heatwave Festival, featuring Kid Cudi, Tech N9ne, Obie Trice, D12 and more, starts today in Adelaide.
The hip-hop megafest stars with a bang – a three day camp-out in Middleton, just south of Adelaide from Thursday 12 January to Sunday 15 January – then heads around the nation.
The line-up features the cream of a new breed of inventive and energetic hip-hop, including global sensation Kid Cudi, revered rap master Tech N9ne, Eminem’s crew D12 and compadre Obie Trice, ‘Riding Dirty’ star Chamillionaire and rap-rockers Crazy Town.
From its origin in Adelaide, the festival hits Brisbane on Tuesday 17 January, Sydney for two shows on Wednesday 18 and Thursday 19 January, Perth on Friday 20 January, Canberra on Saturday 21 January, and winds up in Melbourne on Sunday 22 January.
