Heloise has been named the winner of the 2014 Melbourne Music Bank contest with Oakleigh hip-hop artist NT coming in a very close second.
The Melbourne Music Bank was a music initiative of the Bank of Melbourne. The contest was open to unsigned songwriter/performers in the state of Victoria.

Congratulations to Heloise for being crowned Melbourne Music Bank’s 2014 winner. We are looking forward to cheering her on and tracking her success as she makes her mark on the Australian music industry.”
Heloise has won two days of recording time at Sing Sing Studios, a video clip by film maker Wilk, live gigs, album artwork, 500 CDs, PR and marketing advice. Her song will also be used in a Bank of Melbourne advertising campaign.
Heloise was chosen by a panel comprising campaign Ambassador Ella Hooper, Bank of Melbourne Head of Brand and Marketing Jac Phillips, Beat Editor Cara Williams, PBS Music Director Chelsea Wilson and Melbourne Recital Centre Director of Programming Kirsten Siddle.
She won for her song ‘This Is Home’.
The Melbourne Music Prize contest received hundreds of entries for across Victoria and was voted for by thousands of music fans.
Selki and Under The Arch also made the Top 4 finalists.
