Willie Nelson will release his 69th studio album ‘Ride Me Back Home’ in June.
The title track was written by Songwriters’ Hall of Fame songwriter Sonny Throckmorton who despite his accolades including Songwriter of the Year at both the BMI Awards and Nashville Songwriters Association, has only recorded two albums, the most recent released in 1986.
‘Ride Me Back Home’ is the third album in a trilogy for Willie that started with ‘God’s Problem Child’ (2017) then ‘Last Man Standing’ (2018).
This album includes a cover of Billy Joel’s ‘Just The way You Are’ and Mac Davis’ ‘Its Hard To Be Humble’, featuring his sons Lukas and Micah of Promise of the Real.
‘Ride Me Back Home’ will be released on 21 June, 2019.
