High On Fire

Seems like High On Fire are the only band from Soundwave 2012 that haven’t just jumped back on the bandwagon. They’re actually coming out all on their lonesome to mess with the plate tectonics of the East Coast this September.

Their latest album De Vermis Mysteriis has accumulated the usual acclaim for its churning doomy, sludgy power. Check out a “single”, ‘Fertile Green’.

Tickets go on sale this Friday 24 August from OzTix.

High On Fire Australian Tour 2012
Friday 28 September – Gershwin Room Melbourne
Saturday 29 September – Manning Bar Sydney
Sunday 30 September  – The Zoo Brisbane
