Michael James Ryan, the songwriter better known as Busbee has died at the age of 43 after a battle with brain cancer.
Only months ago Ryan was diagnosed with Gliobastoma, a form of brain cancer and started treatment. He was the father of three, including a new born baby.
Busbee’s song for other include ‘Don’t Stop’ and ‘The Only Reason’ for One Direction, ‘Empty Words’ for Christina Aguilera, ‘This Is Us’ for Backstreet Boys, ‘Dark Side’ for Kelly Clarkson, as well as songs for Adam Lambert, Maren Morris, Pink, Rascal Flatts, Blake Shelton, Keith Urban, Tony Braxton and Garth Brooks.
Ryan was from San Francisco’s Bay Area. He moved to Los Angeles in 2000 at age 24
