Wu-Tang Clan have commenced performances for their 20th anniversary and founding member Ol’ Dirty Bastard is back in the house.
Ol’ Dirty Bastard (aka ODB) died from a drug overdose in 2004 but has been regenerated as a hologram to perform with Wu-Tang Clan on this current tour.
ODB made his first reappearance with Wu-Tang Clan at their San Bernadino, California show last week. The hologram ODB raps ‘Shame On The Nigga’ and ‘Shimmy Shimmy Ya’ with the band.
Hologram Ol’ Dirty Bastard will appear with Wu-Tang Clan again this weekend and next weekend at their shows in San Francisco, Washington DC and Rutherford, NJ.
Meanwhile, also to mark their 20th anniversary Wu-Tang Clan has released a limited edition Wu-Tang Clan bicycle.
State Bicycle Company of Tempe, Arizona has developed the limited edition Wu-Tang Clan bikes.
“When it comes to mobilizing street culture Wu-Tang sets the standard for success and his is how State Bicycle Co. pays tribute to the legends,” the company states in its press release.
The Wu-Tang Clan bicycle sells for $US599.
