in Live,News

Queensland will host Australia’s newest music festival Sandstone Rocks featuring Hoodoo Gurus and Jon Stevens at Sandstone Point north of Brisbane in September.

The Sandstone Rocks line-up also includes Baby Animals and Black Sorrows with more acts to be announced soon.

Sandstone Rocks was created by Duane McDonald’s Regional Touring, the company behind the Red Hot Summer and One Electric Day events with the Sandstone Point Hotel. “We are massive supporters of the Australian Music Industry and are very excited to be hosting artists of this calibre. Sandstone Rocks will be an annual event which will headline only the biggest and best acts for Queensland to enjoy” says Robert Comiskey of the Sandstone Point Hotel.

Sandstone Rocks will have an outlook over Bribie Island. It is planned as an 18+ event with a leisurely 2pm open for a 2:30pm start.
Tickets will go on sale Monday 13th June from www.ticketmaster.com.au or Sandstone Point Hotel.
