Big time concert promoter Live Nation is getting behind dates for Sydney’s Howling Bells.
Howling Bells will tour in September to support the release of their fourth album ‘Heartstrings’ with the backing muscle of the major touring company.
Howling Bells formed in Sydney in 2005 and relocated to London following the release of their self-titled debut in 2006.
The band features Juanita Stein (vocals, rhythm guitar), Glenn Moule (drums), Joel Stein (lead guitar) and Gary Daines (bass guitar).
‘Heartstrings’ was recorded in London at the Assault & Battery studio with Catherine Marks and Alan Moulder producing. It is the first Howling Bells album since ‘The Loudest Engine’ (2011).
In the gap between albums Juanita became a first time mother. She is also credited as backing vocals on the song ‘Up With The Birds’ from Coldplay’s ‘Mylo Xyloto’ album.
Howling Bells dates

September 11, Melbourne, Howler
September 12, Sydney, Oxford Arts Factory
