Jethro Tull’s Ian Anderson allowed cameras into the studio for the very first time for the recording of his ‘Thick As A Brick’ sequel ‘Thick As A Brick 2’.
The sequel comes 40 years after the classic Jethro Tull album and answers the question about how did the Brick character Gerald Bostock, now in his 50s, turn out.
Unlike ‘Brick 1’, which was a complete body of work broken into two parts on vinyl LP edition, ‘Brick 2’ will feature 17 separate tracks but will flow as a single song.
Anderson will release his ‘Brick’ sequel through EMI next week. The film footage will be seen as a 25-minute documentary on the bonus DVD edition.
The tracklisting is:
1. “From A Pebble Thrown”
2. “Pebbles Instrumental”
3. “Might-have-beens”
