Ian Anderson of Jethro Tull has once again revived his fictional character Gerard Bostock for ‘Homo Erraticus’ (or what appears to be Thick As A Brick III).
Anderson first created Bostock in 1972 as the subject of his Jethro Tull concept album ‘Thick As A Brick’.
In 2012, Gerard returned for the sequel ‘Thick As A Brick 2’.
‘Homo Erraticus’ will be the third musical appearance of Bostock by Ian Anderson. The album is a return to songwriting for now 40-year old imaginary Bostock. Through Anderson, Bostock chronicles the work of historian Ernest T. Parritt (1873-1928). With Anderson, it is often to determine what is real and what is not.
‘Homo Erraticus’ will be released in April. Ian Anderson will perform the album live throughout the UK in April and May starting on April 28 in Brighton.
