Icehouse will continue to perform live with some intimate shows on the way for Sydney and Melbourne in December then a run of shows at Crown Casino in January.

“I know we’ve been quiet for a while but I wanted to alert you to something I’m very excited about,” Iva Davies posted to Facebook last week. “In a couple of weeks we’ll be putting tickets on sale to an intimate club show in Melbourne and another in Sydney in early December.

“We also are going to be announcing a few other shows for early 2014 but it is the club shows I think you’ll find the most fun and special in the short term”.

The intimate shows will take place on December 4 in St Kilda for Melbourne fans and December 7 in Darlinghurst for Sydney fans. The venues will be confirmed soon.

The Crown Casino shows for Melbourne have also been confirmed for January 10, 11 and 14 with tickets going on sale tomorrow (October 23).

Michael Paynter will open the shows and then join the Icehouse band.
