Icons of down and dirty blues punk, Iggy and The Stooges, add headlining shows to their Bluesfest visit.
Iggy Pop needs little introduction, nor do The Stooges, a pioneering act and one of few that can legitimately be said to have helped create punk rock as we know it with their skeezy, howling version of the blues.
They’re on board for the massive Bluesfest line-up which will hit Byron Bay this Easter and to the joy of many, they’ve now booked three headlining shows – in Adelaide, Sydney and Melbourne.
Along for the ride is Australia’s equivalent – the legendary Beasts Of Bourbon. Should be a crazy set of shows. Fans can pick up tickets from Wednesday 7 November, 9am for Adelaide at VenueTix and Sydney at Ticketek, and 10am for Melbourne from Ticketmaster.
