“I’m Iggy Pop and I just ate a burger listening to Death Valley Girls,” says Iggy Pop, the punk rock legend at the end of the video for Death Valley Girls ‘Disaster’.

In fact, that is all the video is … just Iggy Pop eating a burger.

The video with Iggy in a suit, white shirt and red tie, is a nod to Andy Warhol who eats a hamburger in the 1982 Jørgen Leth film ’66 Scenes of America’.

Andy’s video didn’t have a soundtrack through.

Death Valley Girls ‘Disaster (Is What We’re After)’ is from the upcoming album ‘Darkness rains, due October 5 through Suicide Squeeze Records.
