iHeartRadio, the Australian Radio Network’s digital music platform, has had an immediate success with over 300,000 downloads of the App in Australia and over 200,000 registered users.

iHeartRadio has the option for listeners to build their own artist flavoured station. The most popular artist station is Bruno Mars, followed by Pink then Rihanna.

The six most popular songs ‘thumbed up” on the app are:

1. Katy Perry ‘Roar’
2. Rihanna ‘Stay’
3. Justin Timberlake ‘Not A Bad Thing’
4. Bruno Mars ‘Locked Out Of heaven’
5. Trey Songz – Na Na’
6. Katy Perry – Dark Horse

iHeartRadio Australia generated 7.3 million page impressions last month.

This week iHeartRadio announced the launch of the iHeartRadio music news channel with noise11.com. “We want to offer the music industry and those iHeartRadio customers who love all things music, the chance to stay in touch with big music news stories and songs in an entertaining way.
