Lady Gaga has been forced to postpone her Born This Way Ball concert tour as a result of injury.
The pop superstar is suffering from a painful case of synovitis, an inflammation of the joints.
Gaga has been performing concerts internationally as part of her Born This Way Ball tour, which kicked off in April last year.
The singer is simply in too much physical agony to put on her next few shows.
She can’t even stand on her own two feet.
“I’ve been hiding a show injury and chronic pain for sometime now, over the past month it has worsened. I’ve been praying it would heal,” Gaga wrote on Twitter.
“I hid it from my staff, I didn’t want to disappoint my amazing fans. However after last nights performance I could not walk and still can’t. (sic)”
Her next three concerts in Chicago, Detroit and Hamilton, Canada this week will not take place.
Gaga will rest for at least one week and is hoping to get back onstage ‘as soon as possible.’
“To the fans in Chicago Detroit & Hamilton I hope you can forgive me, as it is nearly impossible for me to forgive myself. I’m devasted & sad,” she tweeted.
“It will hopefully heal as soon as possible, I hate this. I hate this so much. I love you and I’m sorry.”
