Kiss bass player Gene Simmons is the latest name added to the sexual misconduct list but should that even surprise you?

Given his repuation you’d be disappointed if he wasn’t accused but reputation doesn’t make him guity. Simmons, who boasts about sleeping with over 4,800 women kept his ratio of sex, drugs, rock and roll in check by not doing drugs and increasing his women ratio.

“I didn’t do drugs in the crazy times but I did do sex,” said in a 2016 interview. He also said in the same interview that his days of wild sex with groupies was long behind him.

Simmons was so fluent with his anatomy that in 2008 a sex tape of one of his “live shows” even surfaced.

The new lawsuit against Simmons alleges that he groped a female broadcaster during an interview session in San Bernadino. The woman, who has remained anonymous claims Simmons made “several aggressive, unwanted sexual advances despite Jane Doe’s active and clear discouragement”.

Simmons says he will defend the charges.

In a statement dated December 17, 2018 Simmons wrote:

“I intend to defend myself against any alleged charges you may have been reading about in the media.

“For the record, I did not assault the person making these accusations in the manner alleged in the complaint or harm her in any way.

“I am conferring with my lawyers with the aim of vigorously countering these allegations.

“And I look forward to my day in court where the evidence will prove my innocence”.
