iTunes has released iTunes Match, a cloud based device to store the content in your iTunes.
The iTunes Match is easier to use than the similar Amazon and Google services because it matches the songs you have in your library with the ones it has in its catalogue.
If the songs you have match the songs iTunes already have then your iTunes Match service will use the song already in the iTunes library meaning you won’t have to use bandwidth uploading your entire music collection or use space in the cloud storing your music. iTunes match will only upload content not in its library.
Once you have the content in iTunes Match you can use your iTunes library from your computer and any of your devices or remotely from other computers and devices with your log-in.
Also, all music is streamed at 256-Kbps AAC DRM-free quality not matter what lower quality you may have had the original songs stores at.
The cost of iTunes Match is $24.95 per year.
