Lena Dunham wouldn’t even think to be jealous of Jack Antonoff and Charli XCX’s relationship.
The two singers are currently on tour together, taking in dates across America. Being in such close quarters to each other may bother respective partners but Jack, who has been dating Girls star Lena since 2012, says his lady shouldn’t fret.
‘Nope,’ Jack stated when Details asked if Lena was even a bit jealous of Jack hitting the road with sexy Charli.
‘A) The answer is no. And B) There’s no way I can answer that question. So I’ll just stick with no.’
‘No, not at all,’ Charli chimed in. ‘She’s one of the coolest girls alive in the world. And they’re so in love. I don’t think that would even cross her mind.’
Kicking off their shows in San Diego earlier this week, the Charli and Jack Do America tour comes to a close in October.
Jack’s used to being away from Lena, first with group fun. and now his side project Bleachers, but says the loved up pair know how to handle long distance.
‘It’s about being present, even though you’re not with people. Literally, it’s about people knowing what’s going on in your life. It’s so easy to get into this inertia that happens on tour, where you don’t want to talk and you just want to sit there on the bus and crack open a coconut, which is part of the experience of being on tour.
‘But you have to work at it, even though it feels like swimming against the current to call home and remind people what’s going on. I always feel so much better when I do that. But it could be really easy to not do that and be like, ‘Just f**k off’,’ he admitted.
