I… uh… we’re not kidding.
Okay, so Pitchfork got a press release from Jack White’s boutique record label Third Man to say that he and Shaggy 2 Dope and Violent J, better known as white trash rap gods Insane Clown Posse., will be collaborating on a track.
And what will they put their one and a half minds to, you ask? Reportedly a cover of a bawdy 1782 Mozart oddity ‘Leck Mich Im Arsch’ which translates to exactly what you think it translates to.
To get even more bizarre, it’ll be released on a split 7-inch vinyl record with legitimately rocking psych duo JEFF The Brotherhood on the reverse.
The JTB tune is appropriate enough though, titled ‘Mountain Girl’ and tells “tall tales about a shotgun wedding, meth problems and moonshine”.
It’s part of the Blues series and it’ll be out digitally and on 7-inch on September 13 through Third Man. And if you don’t believe us, check out this promo video below.
Actually, we still don’t believe us.
