Jack White’s solo album ‘Blunderbuss’ should give him his first ever number one album in America.
Hitsdailydouble.com says White is projected to sell somewhere between 110,000 and 120,000 copies of the album in the first week.
That will give him a US number one, something his bands White Stripes, Raconteurs or The Dead Weather have never done.
White was also the producer behind the last albums from veteran artists Loretta Lynn and Wanda Jackson.
‘Blunderbuss’ was released through his own Third Man Records and distributed through Columbia/Sony worldwide.
White wrote all the songs on this record.
The album debuted at no. 2 in Australia this week.
