The Q Awards were held in London on Wednesday night with a winners list that split between veterans and newer artists and one of them was Jake Bugg.
Bugg won Best New Act.
The Pet Shop Boys were on hand to present the Q Idol Award to Robbie Williams while Williams returned the favor a bit later in the evening by giving the Q Outstanding Contribution to Music trophy to PSB.
The Q Icon award went to Suede while the Q Classic Album went to Bummed by the Happy Mondays and Q Best Video to Show Me the Wonder by the Manic Street Preachers.
Finally, punk poet John Cooper Clarke received the Q Poet Laureate and Chrissie Hynde got Q Classic Songwriter.
