Jake Mason Of Cookin’ On 3 Burners To Debut Solo Album At Stonnington Jazz Festival

Jake Mason of Cookin’ On 3 Burners has made a solo album and it is a jazz record.

Mason will premiere his debut solo album ‘The Stranger In The Mirror’ for the Stonnington Jazz Festival in Melbourne on May 17.

‘The Stranger In The Mirror’ showcases Mason on Hammond Organ with a nod to Hammond greats like Jimmy Smith and Brother Jack McDuff over the eras.

Jake Mason will perform with James Sherlock on guitar and Danny Fisher on drums at The Chapel, Chapel Off Chapel at 8pm May 17 as part of the Stonnington Jazz Festival.

Jake Mason co-wrote the hit song ‘This Girl’. The song was a global hit for Kungs vs Cookin’ On 3 Burners. It was a Top 10 hit in 37 countries and has clocked up almost 300 million views on YouTube.
