UK singer/songwriter James Blunt performed the first of the iHeartRADIO Theatre shows in Sydney on Friday night for 200 fans but there were no Royals in attendance.
The rumour sweeping Sydney yesterday was that Prince Harry would attend the show but the Royal plane touched down at Sydney airport after the show had ended.
The intimate James Blunt show took place at Sydney’s The Star Casino.
Blunt showcased his new album ‘Moon Landing’ with the new songs ‘Miss America’ and ‘Bonfire Heart’ as well as his greatest hits including ‘High’, ‘Goodbye My Lover’ and ‘You’re Beautiful’.
The iHeartRADIO Theatre show marked the first Australian show for the iHeartRADIO streaming service, launched in Australia recently.
The iHeartRADIO Theatre shows have been performed regularly in the United States and have featured Bruno Mars, Usher, Alicia Keys, Justin Bieber, One Republic and Lady Antebellum.
The Australian edition of iHeartRADIO is part of the Australian Radio Network (ARN) broadcast platforms. ARN runs the Mix and Gold radio networks across Australia.
