James Reyne has been forced to cancel all upcoming shows for next week after a recent surgical procedure.

Reyne’s last show was for the Australian Open in Melbourne last night. No details of the surgery have been revealed.

The cancelations only affect immediate Queensland dates at this stage.

A statement advises:

Due to complications arising from a recent surgical procedure, James Reyne has been advised by Medical Professionals that he is unable to perform live in the immediate future.

As a result his live dates this Friday night at Aussie World, Sunshine Coast and The Triffid, Brisbane on Saturday night have been cancelled.

James extends his sincere apologies to the fans that have purchased tickets to this weekend’s shows. All tickets will be refunded.

At this stage all other tour dates remain in place.
