Janet Jackson has reportedly given birth to a son.
Both People and TMZ are reporting that Jackson, 50, and her husband, Wissam Al Mana, are the new parents of a baby boy which they have named Eissa Al Mana.
A rep for the singer issued a statement to People, saying “Janet Jackson and husband Wissam Al Mana are thrilled to welcome their new son Eissa Al Mana into the world. Janet had a stress-free healthy delivery and is resting comfortably.”
Jackson and Al Mana have been married since February 2013. On April 6, 2016, Jackson announced that she was taking time off to play “her family” which forced her to postpone dates on her Unbreakable World Tour. She didn’t confirm she was pregnant until this past October.
Al Mana is Jackson’s third husband after James DeBarge (1984-1985) and Rene Elizondo, Jr. (1991-2000) and also was in a seven-year relationship with Jermaine Dupri. While this is her said to be her first child, DeBarge has recently said that she had two children while she was with him that she put up for adoption. There is no proof, at this time, of that allegation.
